This week’s question: What is your favorite layover city and why?
Here’s what your co-workers had to say!
“There are many GoJet destinations that offer superb layovers. This week I was asked to select one, so I decided to highlight Missoula, MT, one of our newest destinations. Missoula has a lot to offer. There are beautiful mountain views to enjoy without even leaving the crew hotel. If one is so inclined, hike up and visit one of the many hillside letters spelling M-I-S-S-O-U-L-A. The small quaint town is visitor friendly; walk around its inviting and unique small shops and restaurants. Dine at the Tamarack Missoula or MacKenzie River Pizza Co. The Tamarack offers a copious variety of large-portion meals. The MacKenzie offers a daily pizza buffet until 2 PM, and luscious personal pizzas during the evening hours. The hotel in Missoula is the Holiday Inn Downtown; it has a nice pool/hot tub, fitness area, comfy beds, and mini fridges in each room. All of this makes for an enjoyable stay out west.” Tim Alfed, STL FO“My favorite layover city is Missoula. The flight into the city is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen, and the people are always so wonderful. It is always a blast being able to walk a few blocks and go to The Tamarack Brewing Company, eat delicious food and enjoy hanging out with the crew.” Michelle Hathaway, DEN FA“LGA. The sheer volume of activities in NYC make each layover different than the last.” David Golladay, RDU FO“Omaha, because it’s unique and there are tons of cool dives near the hotel.” David Dowless, RDU FA“Bozeman. The mountain view is breathtaking.” Ashley Miscevich, ORD FA
