Question for the Crew: Valentine’s Day

This week’s question:  What is your favorite Valentine’s Day tradition or your most memorable Valentine’s Day?
Here’s what your co-workers had to say!
"For approximately 20 years, White Castle has been putting on a special Valentine’s Day dinner. You have to make reservations for this ‘special event’. The tables have red tablecloths and are lit by candlelight. There are waitresses that come to your table to take your order and bring dinner. After you finish dinner, dessert is offered. With dinner, you get a complimentary photo taken for your special night. My wife and I started going there about 10 years ago. For the past 7 years we have had other people from work joining us for this wonderful occasion. We have 18 people going with us this year, most of them being co-workers from GoJet Airlines." Jeff Craig, Director of Quality Assurance

"My favorite Valentine's Day was with my college boyfriend. He picked me up in a suit and tie, and I got to wear a formal dress. We went to an amazing dinner at the top of the Springfield tower overlooking the city. Throughout the night he would give me a rose, and with each one a different thing that he loved about me." "Last year, I took an oath on Valentine's Day to be a "nun" for a year, vowing off all romantic relationships! One of my best friends, a Presbyterian minister, performed the "rights" for me at my newspaper office, where several of my friends gathered in support. My goal for the year was to dig deep within, and enjoy a time of spiritual growth and personal reflection. It's been a life altering year to say the least, which has involved changing careers. It's undoubtedly been one of the best and most important years of my life. I'm not sure what the next year holds as my "nunhood" comes to a close this weekend, but I look forward to the adventure!"
