Question for the Crew

This week, GoJet debuts a new addition to its blog, the Question for the Crew!  Be on the lookout  for it each Friday, when we’ll feature members of the GoJet team answering questions that range from the quirky and comical, to sometimes resourceful!  We look forward to sharing these weekly quips from your colleagues … and you!

This week’s question:  This week, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter. What’s your reaction to this year’s Groundhog Day verdict?
Here’s what your co-workers had to say!
"Six more weeks of winter means six more weeks of shoveling my car out of the ORD employee parking lot, six more weeks of waiting to be deiced, and six more weeks of me cramming as many layers as I can into my suitcase. In Chicago, six more weeks of winter means six more weeks of bidding for warm destinations and six more weeks of wearing my adorable boots." Shannon Stapleton FA, ORD

"Probably about the same as the mayor who got bit in the face by a groundhog on live TV. Don't blame the airlines for your delayed and cancelled flights, folks. Blame Punxsutawney Phil." Louisa Millar FO, STL

"I think if the groundhog is going to predict more weeks of winter, he could at least come out and brave the cold as opposed to predicting the weather and then scurrying back into his warm hole in the ground. Sheesh!" Geneva Smith Crew Scheduling
